Eri Studio / Predictive Thermal
Early prototype · An Eri Studio productSee the heat. Before it arrives.
Forecast GPU temperature 30–60 seconds ahead from telemetry your data centre already collects. Predictive Thermal is an early-stage product being developed so operators can act before hotspots and throttling happen.
How it works ContactFrom watching heat to anticipating it.
For data-centre and GPU cluster operators who need visibility into changing thermal conditions, not just the current reading.
A short look ahead
The goal is to forecast GPU temperature 30–60 seconds into the future, giving operators an earlier view of potential hotspots.
Familiar telemetry
Temperature, power, utilisation and clocks: signals data centres already collect, brought together for a forward-looking view.
Operators in control
Designed to inform operational decisions before hotspots and throttling happen. Operator judgement stays central.
Existing signals. A forward-looking view.
A high-level approach, with read-only telemetry as the starting point.
Observe
Begin with GPU temperature, power, utilisation and clock telemetry available in the operator’s environment.
Forecast
Use those signals to forecast GPU temperature over the next 30–60 seconds.
Inform
Give operators a view of the temperature ahead so they can consider action before hotspots and throttling happen.
Early stage, clearly labelled. Predictive Thermal is an early prototype, not a production-ready service. A simulated demo exists; its data is simulated.
The useful moment is when load changes.
When temperature is steady, the current reading already tells you a lot. The intended use is the moment things shift: idle to heavy work, or heavy work to cooldown. That is when a short look ahead could help most.
Now
Current telemetry shows what the GPU is doing at this moment. Action waits until the reading changes.
30–60 seconds ahead
A short forecast aims to show where temperature is heading, so there is a little time to plan.
